insane, i know. i just couldn't help myself. it was inexpensive and beautiful. total impulse buy. what do you think?

the white couch

why didn't i straighten the cushions before taking the picture?

We did that kinda accidentally. Damn couch didn't look that light in the store. It's annoying me now, but a good steam clean will help it out.

Use it til you can't clean it anymore and then toss it.

I have a cream colored velvet couch with three kids so I can't say anything! it is a lovely couch though. I too would have risked it. I inherited mine. come to think of it, I don't think I have ever actually purchased a couch at a furniture store...

Very pretty, and lots of character. But, is it comfy? That's the real question to be answered.

I like it, but with my pets I cover everything. So if you want to compare kids to pets (which I know some can't) cover with a pretty quilt or something till company comes.

You really live on the "edge" don't you! I wouldn't even attempt something as beautiful as that....especially with a dog who humps our couch when everyone is in bed....despite ever effort to keep HER from doing it!

I like it too, looks comfy and lovely ;)

Nice sofa! I would love to slipcover mine in white canvas. People think I'm crazy.

I love everything about it.

I have a very light-colored (blonde) couch. The secret to people thinking I have done an amazing job keeping it clean has been to throw a blanket over it. I take it off and fold it at the end of the couch when people come over.

I love old fashioned furniture like this! I'd have bought it, too, if I'd had the money! :)

It has good form.
